Celebration Ministry of Arts CMA Vision

"Coming back to the
heart of worship... "

Come let us Worship
Celebration Ministry of Arts was founded in 1993 with a desire to see God redeem the art of dance and sanctify it for use in the Church, using skill and artistry through anointed dancers whereby all the earth would see His glory.

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 4:23-24

We strive to give our students excellence in dance training, because we are performing for the most high King and He deserves the best that we can give! Although technical training is very important to us, the most important thing is teaching our students that worship is a lifestyle, a way they live their lives each and every day. Through our devotional times in class, we want to help our students grow and mature in their relationships with the Lord.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1

Part of our vision is to teach and train our students to be passionate about worshiping Jesus Christ and equip to them to be ministers and teachers of the arts. Whether that be leading small groups, teaching others what they have learned, starting their own worship dance ministry, becoming a worship dance instructor or going on the mission field. We want the training to start in our class times, but then build upon it as some of our students begin assisting with our classes and train to become a teacher. We want to openly share, and pass on the things that God has taught us along the way. Assisting others, who have the same passion for worshiping Christ, in any way we can.

"...Make disciples, teaching them to do (attend to carefully) all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)

"The things that you have heard from me, commit to faithful others, who will be able to teach others also." (II Timothy 2:2)

All of the ladies on our staff, desire to be a Godly example to each of the young ladies we teach. We want to show them, not just by our words, but also by our attitudes and actions, how to live a life of devotion and worship to our Glorious Savior.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Tim 4:12

Our desire is that ALL would come to know our Amazing Savior Jesus Christ. We want to share about the Lord's forgiveness, hope and life! The Lord has given us the tool of dance as a way to worship Him and to draw people into His presence. During our performances we want to draw people's eyes to the Creator of the earth and tell of His Glory! Through our dramatic movements and the messages in our songs, we pray that hearts would be stirred, desiring to know more of Christ.

"My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His holy name forever and ever." Psalm 145:21

Included in our vision for evangelism, is missions. We want to encourage our students to look outside of themselves, and stir a desire in them to spread the gospel; making them aware that their mission field may be their next door neighbor or needy people in another country. Since dance is a universal language, it is an excellent way reach people and spread a strong gospel message.

CMA's company dancers have had the opportunity to minister in Japan for the past 4 summers. The Lord has laid the people of Japan on our hearts in a very strong way. We have been privileged to take Christ's hope to a spiritually dark country and build relationships with missionaries and Christians in Japan.

"You are the light of the world....Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:12-16

Statement of Faith:

- We believe that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" II Timothy 3:16, and is the believer's final authority for belief and practice. It is true, timeless and trans-cultural. God does not change and the Bible is God's Holy Word.

- We believe in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

- We believe that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life and to die on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. And that He rose again and is now seated at the right hand of God.

- We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, and if we confess our sins and commit our lives to Christ, God will forgive us and send His Holy Spirit to dwell within us to guide us and empower us to live a godly life.

- We are committed to worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.

- Our mission is to find and cultivate true worshipers!

"Come let us worship and bow down"
Psalm 95:6

Bow before Him

"Transfixed by His glory,
transformed in His presence."
