Joy Cook
Teacher and Training Experience:
  • Began assisting with CMA in 1998
  • Began teaching with CMA in 1999 and taught Worship Dance 1, 2, 3 & 4 - ages 3-12 (60 students per week) with CMA's Littleton school.
  • Directed her church's drama team
  • Taught Sunday School for Kindergarten through 2nd graders
  • Director of the Sparks in Awana and was involved in that for over ten years
    • Has been to national and international competition for Awana in talent, games and Bible memorization quizzing.

 


 
 
 

Choreography:

  • Choreographed worship dance pieces for CMA
  • Has choreographed dances for other churches, dances for Christmas plays, and for skits & dramas.
  • For a year and a half she was in and choreographed for the moves in an ensemble.

 
 
 
 
 

Other Interests & Activities:

  • Played soccer for eight years
  • Played tennis for 2 years
  • Played softball and baseball
  • Has played the violin for since 1999
  • Has played the piano since 1991
  • She has been singing since she was four years old at churches and different conferences and events.
  • Enjoys all kinds of needle-work, reading, writing, and spending time with her family.

Where is she now?

  • Beginning in January of 2005, Joy will be attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois where she will major in Bible and Music. After graduating in the Spring of 2007 with her Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Music, she plans to be a Mentor/Counselor for young teenage girls.
         Miss Cook continues to teach at CMA's Summer Dance Camp.
