Here are some of the things we will be offering at Camp:

WORSHIP - We will have a local worship leaders to join us each morning to lead us in praise and worship to our King.
DEVOTIONS- Studying the Word of God will be an important part of each day. The theme for summer camp will be explored through God's Word and prayer at the beginning of each class.
WORKSHOPS- The following is a sampling of some of the workshops available.

 Workshops will include:
  • Ballet class - Learn in-depth training at barre, center and across the floor. This class will help you improve the areas of grace, coordination and flexibility.
  • Israeli Folk Dance - This workshop will be led by the "Israeli Celebration Dancers", as they show us yet another way to express our joy for the Lord.
  • Acting - A guest teacher will be teaching the students acting basics. Because it is so important to portray emotions as we dance, acting class is a great way to help students discover how to use yet another skill for the glory of God.
  • Leaps & Turns - This workshop will focus on the joy of praising God through upbeat music and dance.

Daily Classes:

Every day students will have a consistent class that includes devotions, warm-up, and choreography. Ages 7-11yrs must choose a style of dance that will determine the focus of this daily class and performance piece.  All classes will be divided based on the dancer’s age.  Please choose one from the following categories and designate your selection on your camp  registration form.

These two categories are:

  • Praise dance: This categoey will use upbeat praise music. Choreography for this style will incorporate contemporary movements.  The joy of the Lord will be the focal point of this type of dance.
  • Worship dance: This category will use slower worship music. A ballet-like style will be the foundation of the choreography for this category. This style involves interpreting the lyrics of a song, using facial expression and interpretive movements. The expression of adoration to the Lord through dance will be emphasized.
Please pick one of these and mark it on your Camp Registration form.

Outreach:
All camp participants will be offered an opportunity to minister to the residents of a local nursing home on Thursday afternoon. Students will perform their dance and share the Love of God with those who need to hear it. This is one of our favorite parts of camp... Using dance to draw others to Jesus!

Don’t miss this exciting week!

The week will conclude Friday evening, at 7:00p.m. with a worship concert.

Students are encouraged to invite family & friends to this celebration.
